Our Structure
Horizon Foundation is incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act 1981 and the Management Committee is responsible for the general policy and the financial accountability of the Foundation as defined in the Constitution.
Members of the
Management Committee serve as volunteers and receive no payment for their services to the Foundation. The Committee consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Consumer Representative. They are responsible to the Foundation members and various government departments, to fulfil the objectives of the organisation as defined in the Mission Statement:
"creating opportunities for people with disabilities"
The
Executive Director is responsible for all aspects of the operational management of the organisation in line with quality management practices.
Membership of Horizon Foundation includes "ordinary" and "family" members. Membership is by application with approval of existing members. Annual fees are payable each financial year. For more information about getting involved as a member of Horizon Foundation click here.
