Our Structure
Horizon Foundation is incorporated under the Associations Incorporations Act 1981 and the Board is responsible for the general policy, strategic direction and the financial accountability of the Foundation as defined in the Constitution.
Members of the Board serve as volunteers and receive no payment for their services to the Foundation. The Board consists of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, four general members and a Service User Representative. They are responsible to the Foundation members and various government departments, to fulfil the objectives of the organisation as defined in the Mission Statement:
"creating opportunities for people with disabilities"
The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for all aspects of the strategic and operational management of the organisation in line with quality management practices.
Membership of Horizon Foundation includes 'ordinary' and 'family' members. Membership is by application with approval of existing members.
Annual fees are payable each financial year.
